The hard work and dedication of our Chamber Members is our most important asset. Our committees are filled with members who work hard, network, and have fun along the way. Each committee has a unique quality that will appeal to a variety of interest. The committees work at different times of the year and for different durations to work with our members schedules. Listed below are options available to you with a brief explanation of their duties and involvements. Ambassador/Membership Committee
Meeting and greeting each member is this committee's claim to fame. They help assist the Chamber in welcoming new businesses in the area through ribbon cuttings and special events. The committee also works throughout the year to recruit new members into the Chamber.

Legislative Committee
This committee helps keep the membership and board informed as to proposed legislation on a city, county, and state level. They take a proactive stance on the position of the Chamber and work in close conjunction with other active Chamber committees informing them on pending legislation that may affect their committee decisions. Business Expo Committee
The Business Expo allows Chamber members to connect with the community to promote their product or service. The committee works to provide Chamber members the opportunity to display their products and services to the public in an environment that is fun and informative for everyone.

Golf Committee
Each year the Chamber hosts its annual Golf Tournament. Members come together for a wonderful day of golf, drinks, dinner, and prizes. The committee assists in securing sponsorships, attendance prizes, and assists in planning the day's activities.

Nite of Stars Committee
The Holiday Season is a special time of year at the Chamber. The Nite of Stars is the Chamber's annual Christmas event which brings together all the Chamber members. There is dinner, drinks, dancing, great conversation, a silent auction, and the opportunity to win a big attendance prize.

Marketing/Communications Committee
Promotes the image and activities of the Florissant Valley Chamber of Commerce in a positive way through the cooperation in the media. This committee also works on the Chamber Magazine "Our Town". Each member contributes an article or suggestions over the course of the year to provide our community with information about the area.

Casino Night Committee
This committee puts on one of the best evenings for the Chamber during the year. People come to enjoy a night straight from Las Vegas. Prizes are awarded throughout the night and members play to win wonderful grand prizes.

Partners in Education Committee
Their mission is to improve the long term local business environment within the Florissant Valley Chamber of Commerce service area. Their focus is on encouraging education, training, guidance, and career support services to business professionals. The committee also sponsors the Chamber's Scholarship Program, which raises money for local students. They have given away $10,000 in scholarships over three years.

Business to Business Committee
If networking with other members is your mission than this is the committee for you. They host monthly meetings to encourage more networking and communication between members. Join them and meet new friends and business partners.

Outstanding Businessperson Committee
Each year the Chamber recognizes a local businessperson who has done an exceptional job in the Chamber and in the Community. This committee helps elect which businessperson receives the honor.
