Dear Members,
Due to all of the showers
that we have had over the past few months all of the
well watered flowers should just burst to life this
May. As we watch the life return to our yards and
lawns lets also look for ways to make our businesses
grow. Our Chamber provides several opportunities for
you to get out and grow your contacts.
Last month we had our
speed networking event, it was a chance to meet with
50 people to spend a focused amount of time with each
of them, and then move on to the next person. This
event helped businesses make new contacts. Another
opportunity to make new contacts is the new member
reception on May 8th. Don't let the name keep you
away if you are an established member of the Chamber,
this is an opportunity to meet and greet our newest
members.
We also have two upcoming
informal events to meet other members, the trivia
night on May 9th to benefit Dylan Simon. This evening
setup by a dedicated group of volunteers will be a
special event to test your mental powers for obscure
facts, and to enjoy the company of fellow community
members. Also don't forget about our annual golf tournament.
Kevin McClain of McClain Chiropractic and Scott Schneider
of US Bank, along with the rest of the committee have
been working hard to make sure that you will have
fun on June 10th while playing 18 holes of golf.
Just like spring time
takes a little work in the yard to get things looking
nice, so your business takes some work to make it
grow. Take advantage of what your Chamber offers you
to help grow.

Chairman of the Board
